The Vineyard

The vines grow on steep, schist slopes above Banyuls, where the terrain is too rugged for mechanization. This cuvée comes from several small post-phylloxera parcels of Grenache Noir, all harvested by hand.

The Wine

Aged in an oxidative environment using the solera method, this Banyuls blends multiple vintages, including some dating back to the creation of the domaine in 2015. This system of perpetual blending brings both complexity and harmony, weaving together youthful energy and mature depth in a subtle balance.

The Tasting

From the first sip, this Banyuls reveals the richness and depth typical of solera-aged wines. Its mahogany hue with amber highlights reflects the graceful evolution in barrel.
The nose is intense, offering layers of dried fig, walnut, date, and candied orange peel, lifted by delicate notes of cocoa. On the palate, the natural sweetness is beautifully countered by a fresh, saline edge, creating remarkable balance. The texture is silky, with a long finish lingering on dried fruits and gentle spice.
This Banyuls can be enjoyed on its own, or it pairs wonderfully with aged blue cheese, nut-based desserts, dark chocolate, or duck with figs. It also makes an excellent aperitif.
