Domaine Augustin

The Vines

This plot, facing Northeast, is planted with Grenache gris from our century-old vines. The soil is mainly composed of schist, with some areas of amphelite. A well was dug by an ancestor at the bottom of the plot, and it never dries up.

The Wine

As is the case for all white wines from the estate, we pay particular attention to the gentle pressing. For aging on lees, we prefer the exclusive use of tanks to allow the wine to develop its complexity while maintaining unparalleled purity and freshness.

Tasting

On the nose, subtle aromas of white-fleshed fruits harmoniously mingle with delicate notes of white flowers. On the palate, its silky texture and liveliness reveal a palette of complex flavors. Mineral nuances bring additional depth, and the persistent finish leaves a subtle imprint of ripe fruits. Ideal to accompany a lobster ceviche with citrus, chipirons with chorizo, or a honey and curry pork chop.
