The Wine

This old Rivesaltes is a pure Grenache noir. Aging takes place in barrels and under oxidative conditions for 40 years, which gives this Rivesaltes its tawny aspect.

Tasting

Maturation in barrels for 40 years brings more character and complexity to this Rivesaltes. The color is dark and deep, with intoxicating aromas of candied fruits, honey, and nuts on the nose. The palate is surprisingly fresh, with a velvety texture and rich notes of fig, caramel, and dried fruits, leading to a beautiful, lingering finish.
