Les Vignes

Nestled along the Agly Valley, on schist and clay-limestone soils, these plots stretch from Tautavel to Saint Paul de Fenouillet, passing through Maury, at altitudes ranging from 100 to 200 meters. For this cuvée, we focus on a specific
parcel, an ancient vineyard of Grenache and Carignan,planted through mass selection.

The Wine

The Grenache noir and Carignan are fermented in small containers, with punching down and temperature control.
Aging takes place in 400-liter barrels for 24 months.

The Tasting

In the nose, Terres Nouvelles is silky and harmonious.
The notes of raspberries and red currants are intense and ripe. There are hints of menthol and minerals.
The palate is structured and flattering; with great purity in
the expression of red fruits.
The finish reveals melted, sensual, and warm tannins.It pairs well with fine cuts of red meat such as a ribeye steak with garlic parsley butter.
